Externally, the model has undergone minor changes, which only added to the picture of style and charisma. Even "from the face" they are different. So, the new Kia Rio 2015 hatchback has a narrower grille, which is trimmed with chrome. The geometry of the bumper also changes. If the sedan's lower part along the entire width is trimmed with a honeycomb mesh with a large section, then in the hatch it is neatly located in the center, like the air ducts along the edges.

Contrary to tradition, Kia has decided that the materials are worthy of presentation in the restyled generation. In all likelihood, the Koreans decided to take into account the mistakes of the past. Not only materials remained unchanged, but also the general interior design. There is still the same undulating dashboard, which creates a lot of inconvenience for the front passenger's legs, as well as the instrument panel, which for some reason is marked up to 220 km / h, although the maximum speed of the car with the most powerful engine does not exceed 185 km / h.
The steering wheel has undergone changes, which in older trim levels has the functions of controlling the radio, music volume, a telephone connected via Bluetooth, and also functions of an on-board computer.
The latter, in turn, is able to display the average and instantaneous consumption, the power reserve on the remaining amount of fuel, as well as other useful little things.
The center console has also undergone an update, on which there may be a climate control unit, or air conditioning knobs. This, of course, depends on the equipment.
The front seats are worthy of special "attention". The owners of the pre-styling generation complained about the insufficiently developed lateral support. The company's designers did not heed their pleas and left the seats old, with their stiffness, uncomfortable profile, and the very brand of fabric trim that Kia was so proud of in the 2011 ad.
As you know, the new Kia Rio is built on the basis of the Chinese version of Solaris. Accordingly, their internal dimensions are identical.
