American auto maker Ford has announced prices for the updated Ford Mustang Shelby series. Consider their characteristics, cost and photos.
Comparing the latest model of the Ford Mustang with the previous generation, there is little that remains and almost nothing resembles anything. The updated Shelby GT350 and GT350R models have been in dealer showrooms for a long time, but the price was announced only recently to generate more interest. Despite the obscurity of the price for these models, there are already queues of buyers.
The characteristics of the new Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 originates from the Mustang Boss 302. Under the hood is a 5.2 liter V8 Ti-VCT petrol engine with 526 horsepower.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 4.3 seconds and maximum torque is 582 Nm. This powerful engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox that transmits torque to the rear wheels.
The dimensions of the new GT350 / GT350R horses are not small enough:
- length 4818 mm;
- width 1928 mm;
- height 1377 mm;
- wheelbase 2720.
Regarding the color scheme, there will be hot, sporty shades:
- Orange;
- Red;
- blue;
- dark grey;
- yellow;
- light gray;
- bright white;
- black.
GT350 price starts at 49995$, although in some dealerships in Europe you can see the price and from 56970$.
Regarding the second submodel GT350R, in terms of technical parameters, the muscular horse is no different, but still the differences are embedded in the body of the car itself.
Lightweight instead of aluminum made from carbon, like lightweight wheels. The second row of seats has also been removed to lighten the weight. Improved aerodynamics and braking system make it even more attractive. Under the hood is the same 5.2 liters. V8 as in GT350. For comparison, the GT350 weighs 1722 kg and the GT350R weighs 1678, which is almost 50 kg lighter. The base price of the new Shelby GT350R starts at 61295$.
